The WTINE Design Competition

Overview

This first module of the WTINE course introduces students to the competition, explaining what it is about, how participation is structured and giving insight into former designs.

A video explains how the initiative came about and shows it in action, with contributions from former participants.

We introduce the program sponsors and share the “Where There Is No Engineer” book with case studies. Students complete a short quiz to complete the module.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of themodule, students will be able to:

  • Describe what the WTINE Design Challenge is
  • Outline the stages of the competition and how they will participate
  • Identify the opportunities available to them with EWB’s WTINE sponsors

Duration

This course module takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
